  • Eat food that contains calcium
  • Avoid hard substances and bones, they can break your teeth.
  • Use a soft toothbrush and brush gently to avoid injuries in the gum.

How to Sleep with Toothache

Try sleeping with your head elevated on a thick pillow or several pillows. Elevation can help prevent pressure caused by blood flow into the head and mouth. Elevating your head can therefore help to alleviate some of the pain, improve circulation and reduce swelling. 

Why do toothaches hurt worse at night?

Toothaches can be painful in the day, but they may seem to get worse at night. One reason that this may occur is that when a person is lying down, blood rushes to the head. This extra blood in the area may increase the pain and pressure that people feel from a toothache

What can you do for an unbearable toothache?

When toothache becomes unbearable most in the night and accessing a dentist by such time might not be convenient, you can apply any of the home remedies listed below, most of these remedies have the ability to permanently cure the toothache but if symptoms continue, it will be wise to consult a dentist

Remedies and How to Sleep with Toothache

  • Place pulverized activated charcoal on the area. Brushing your teeth with charcoal will also prove beneficial
  • OR
  • Chew clove and place it on d particular tooth. Leave it there for 5 minutes then throw it out. Do it like 4 times it will go.
  • OR
  •  Use ginger water, the same process, it will take care of the toothache.
  • OR
  • To relieve toothache, chew guava leaves or apply leaves past on affected tooth/teeth.

DOSAGES

7 to 10 younger fresh leaves (or 5 to 6 older ones) should be boiled with 1 liter of water in a closed pot over a gentle flame

OR

1 tablespoonful of the powder of dried leaves boiled in 1 Liter of Water in the same way

  • foul-tasting discharge, or pus
