This Medical Medium Cleanse to Heal Book is fantastic. I have found huge healing since I’ve used the information from the previous Medical Medium books (many many of my old chronic symptoms I dealt with most of my life are gone such as migraines, acne, weight gain, chronic fatigue, rashes, eczema, hair loss has grown back thick, etc).

I did the 3:6:9 cleanse several times after his Liver Rescue book and found MASSIVE healing, my body became a lot leaner, and incredible boosts in my energy and overall health each time. I had some questions though, and so far this book has addressed all of them, such as what is the deal with the intermittent fasting trend (spoiler: not always a terrible movie, but probably not the most effective way to cleanse or boost health, and could be harmful to some people).

He also answered how to simplify the 3:6:9 cleanse for more casual continued daily cleansing, and even a more advanced/intense version of the cleanse, which I’m really excited to try!

Done right, truly miraculous healing is possible here, and he has provided the perfect instructions for doing it all optimally for your body and place in the cleansing process. I love that there are many cleansing options laid out based on your goals, current health, etc.

Our world is nearly overrun with toxins, plastics, viruses, heavy metals, and other health-challenging substances. I pray our world heals and our planet is able to become a healthier place for all of us. Until then, I don’t have to be afraid, I’m so grateful I have this accurate information for exactly how to help my body (and my family) cleanse, heal, and truly thrive right now in the most efficient and effective ways possible.

It’s not always cheap or easy, but in 2020, I feel eating/drinking this way is necessary. The foods our parents and grandparents could eat and still have fine health (gluten, soy, corn, dairy, eggs, etc) just don’t work for most of us now. Just in the last couple of decades, we’re dealing with much more intense toxin and heavy metal exposure, much stronger bacteria and viruses, GMO foods, and livers overburdened with all that and much more. The only way to fight back is to help our bodies constantly expel this stuff as deeply and safely as we can, while also nourishing our bodies to be as strong, vibrant, and resilient as possible.

I’m SO freaking grateful to have these cheat codes on exactly how to do this in the most efficient and effective ways possible and use these cleanses to reclaim massive amounts of vitality and prevent diseases from coming on as I age. My grandmother has dementia, varicose veins, small amounts of cancer, and I don’t think I’ll ever have to deal with any of those or any other problems because of the cleansing I’m doing.

** Update: 5/25/20
My husband agreed to do the advanced 3:6:9 cleanse with me, and we are currently on day 8 of the 9 days. So far I love the recipes, and even my husband likes them. He grumbles, but he’s getting used to it all and likes the results he’s getting.

I really like that there are more blended foods than in the original 3:6:9 cleanse, and also salad recipes that are chopped up in the food processor so very easy and enjoyable to eat. I’ve got two little kids, and it’s much easier (and faster) to suck down a smoothie before I chase after the rascals than to chew big leafy raw salads several times a day, which is a challenge I had the last couple of times I did the original 3:6:9 cleanse.

The cauliflower salad and the kale salad are two of our favorites in this book. I find kale salads, in general, are usually tough, chewy, and taste like cardboard, or have fatty dressings. The kale salad recipe in this book blew our minds! We tried it last night and with the tomatoes, dates, garlic, cucumber, and orange juice, the flavors kind of burst in your mouth, and it has a wonderful rice-like texture, making it feel like you’re eating a hearty veggie-bowl type dinner.

I’ve been increasing the quantities a bit for everything (especially breakfast and lunch smoothies), as we were getting pretty hungry. I really appreciate that he encourages you to eat the portion size that’s right for you so you’re not ever too hungry. I love that I can lose weight and get leaner, stronger, and healthier all while feeling full and satisfied!

A note on cravings: If you’re having a craving, first make sure you’re eating the right portion size and enough extra apples for your actual hunger to be satisfied. Don’t ever let yourself get super hungry. Beyond that, I’ve had crazy strong junk food cravings in the past when I did the original 3:6:9… like, I felt like I was going to DIE if I didn’t go get X fast food RIGHT NOW, which I hadn’t had in ages but suddenly sounded like the most earth-shatteringly delicious thing EVER.

Pro tip: don’t do it. AW says you can crave toxins as they are leaving your liver, so just keep going washing them out with the cleanse protocol and let them go. Eating the craved food stops that process. I’ve found the cravings pass in a day or two (or often much faster as your body gets cleaner), and if you just keep letting the toxins go out with the cleanse, often a day or two later that junk food that sounded orgasmically good a day before suddenly doesn’t even sound particularly appealing anymore.

I’m lucky this go-round any cravings for non-cleanse food have been brief and pretty mild.

I’ve been really strict to follow the exact instructions and ingredients listed for all the recipes, which I think makes a big difference. I’ve gone through phases of being more bloated, especially later in the day, but I was struggling with bloating before this cleanse.

It’s also listed as what can be a normal cleanse reaction to my body using extra fluid to safely process the toxic waste, and nothing that won’t settle down after the toxic load decreases and my body continues healing. Whatever my body needs to do to get rid of that junk, I’m grateful to be getting it out!

Overall this cleanse feels really fantastic, and I’m planning on doing another 9 days back-to-back. My energy feels good and it feels sustainable. Safeway delivers groceries to where we are, and I’ve been able to get everything delivered. They even recently had Wyman’s frozen wild blueberries (which have been tough to find recently).

My husband laughed at me squealing with delight when 3 bags of those came in our last grocery delivery. These cleanses are definitely a commitment to food prep, but I’m getting in the groove with all of it, and it’s so incredibly worth it. My kids even want to taste a lot of our salads and smoothies!

I have never had my husband home to do this kind of cleanse with me before, it’s one of my favorite things about quarantine so far! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I’ll update with another progress report and a before/after weight and measurements, and if I go for a repeat cleanse.
